MURRA Partners is an Executive Search and Recruitment Firm recruiting all senior positions for organisations in Australia. 

Founded and operated by Gavin Wanganeen.

MURRA works relentlessly to be the change in actively boosting representation of First Nations People in corporate roles across Australia.

There is a huge gap between non-Aboriginal people and Aboriginal people with regards to health, income disparity, living standards, resources, technology, justice, racial equality and human rights. There isn’t enough representation in Leadership roles or corporate roles (the vehicle to get there). There are more overseas recruitment firms leading these processes than Aboriginal ones.

 

VISION

Our vision is to build better companies by making them culturally safe while providing clear employment pathways for First Nations People.

Our big scary goal is to be the first Aboriginal Search firm to recruit a CEO for an ASX100.

 

We want to increase representation of First Nations people in Corporate Australia. We want this to happen on  merit. We recruit roles for all Australian companies and all Australians. "MURRA" is a Kokatha word that translates as "hand". MURRA's aim is to partner (hand-in-hand) with companies to achieve our goals, together.

HOW

MURRA works to Close The Gap in corporate Australia, building life-long relationships with cohorts of candidates. We create role models and partner with organisations to create culturally safe workplaces with culturally aware leaders. We want to help organisations - those truly serious about Reconciliation close the gap in corporate Australia.

 

We partner with industry leading recruiters and cultural awareness advisors do deliver the best possible service. - Closing the Gap on merit.
