Commissioner for Aboriginal Children & Young People

​The Government of South Australia is looking for its next Commissioner of Aboriginal Children and Young People. This critical role will lead and champion the rights for Aboriginal Children and Young People in SA. 

​

  • Independent Commissioner role

  • Advocate for systemic cultural wellbeing

  • Lead impactful engagement with communities

This is a rare and impactful opportunity to advocate for the cultural identity, safety, and wellbeing of Aboriginal children and young people. As the Commissioner, you will collaborate with communities, government agencies, and key stakeholders to lead systemic advocacy and change. The role will shape policies and practices that ensure the voices of Aboriginal children and young people are heard and valued.
